Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our ceramics range from €25 to €85. That price includes everything – painting, glazing, and firing – so there are no surprises. Prices may vary over time depending on our changing selection. Curious about a specific item? Check out the "Ceramics" section for all the details.

  • Feel free to stop by our café whenever you'd like, but to make sure you have a spot, we recommend booking ahead, especially on weekends. If you're in the mood for a spontaneous visit, we'll do our best to accommodate you!

  • We offer a diverse selection of ceramics, from cups and plates to large vases, with a range of prices to suit every budget. Visit the Ceramics page for a closer look at our collection.

  • Your ceramics will be ready for pick-up in a few weeks. You will receive an e-mail when your piece is ready for pick-up. We’ll keep it safe for up to one month, but if it's not collected by then, we’ll either repurpose it or pass it on to a local charity. So make sure to pick up your creation in time!

  • Absolutely! We can ship your ceramics within the Netherlands as well as to other European countries. On our shipping page, you’ll find all the information about how it works.

We’ll do our very best to pack your piece securely, but ceramics are fragile. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that your piece will arrive undamaged. Shipping is at your own risk.

  • Of course! We’d love to help you celebrate! Check out our group page.

  • You’ll have plenty of time within the 2,5 hour time slot to finish your masterpiece! If you don’t quite manage to complete it in time, no worries – you can come back another time on Wednesday or Thursday to finish it.

  • KERA café is a pin-only location; we do not accept cash.

  • The nearest parking garage is Parkeergarage Boompjes, just a few minutes' walk from KERA café.

  • We recommend washing your ceramic piece by hand. That way, it’ll stay beautiful the longest. We also advise not putting it in the oven or microwave.

  • While we take great care with every piece, human error can sometimes happen. If your item is damaged during the glazing or firing process, don’t worry! You’re welcome to come in and paint the same item again, completely free of charge. We’ll make sure you’re happy with your creation!

  • Small decorations are welcome, as long as you keep other guests in the café in mind. The space is not private and is shared with other visitors. On busy days, it’s often not possible to decorate the table earlier than 15 minutes in advance, due to other reservations.

  • No, unfortunately it’s not allowed to bring your own food or drinks

  • We work with time slots of 2.5 hours. If you’d like to give or open gifts during your visit, please keep in mind that this needs to take place within this time slot. Only if there is no reservation after your group, it may be possible to stay a little longer. Feel free to ask our team about this during your visit.

  • We understand that plans can change. If a deposit has been paid and you inform us in time that fewer people will be attending, the paid amount will be settled during your visit to the café.

If you have paid a €10 per person deposit, this amount will be deducted from your final bill on the day of your visit.

If you have paid in advance for a group package, we will refund any overpaid amount after your visit.

We kindly ask you to let us know no later than the morning of your visit if your group size changes. You can simply send us an email. This helps us offer the table to another guest.

Of course, illness or unexpected situations can happen, and we completely understand. At the same time, especially on popular days, we try to accommodate as many guests as possible. We truly appreciate your understanding.
